The skier with red cheeks and a broad smile is called Datti, as is the nickname of Kay Bojesen's daughter-in-law Ruth (married to Otto). Her male counterpart, Boje, is named after the nickname of Kay Bojesen's son Otto. The original wooden figures are extremely rare, as they were only produced in small series.
