At the end of the 1940s, Kay Bojesen designed these two cheerful skiers. The skier with red cheeks and a broad smile is called Datti, as is the nickname of Kay Bojesen's daughter-in-law Ruth (married to Otto). Her male counterpart, Boje, is named after the nickname of Kay Bojesen's son Otto. The original wooden figures are extremely rare, as they were only produced in small series. With their cheerful expression, the two skiers always put a smile on their lips and are ready to return to our homes in this new edition. The two skiers are made of painted beech in the same way as the guardsman. The skiers have a height of 15.5 cm.
